My Baby is 8 Months Old

Paige is getting SO big. I feel that she has changed so much in the last 3 weeks. It's so crazy! She:
-is crawling like crazy
-is pulling herself up on anything
-has 2 teeth on the bottom
-laughs at herself when she thinks she is funny
-is very ticklish
-LOVES her mommy
-has found her nostrils and has a finger in there ALL the time! haha
-is pulling her flowers and headbands off constantly
-eats everything! She loves finger foods and doing it herself
-follows Elle around everywhere
-waves "Hi"
-gets excited when anyone pays attention to her
-is starting sign language--> "all done" & "milk"
-smiles ALL the time with a few snorts here and there
- sleeps 11 hours at night without eating
-finally rolls over from her back to her tummy

We love this little goose. She makes us all laugh and definitely lights up the room when she's in it. I love her personality and hope that she will always be this happy. It's been so exciting watching Paige learn and discover new things. We LOVE you Paigee!

Summerland 2009

What a fun vacation we just got home from! We were able to be out in BC with most of Jared's family for 13 days. We had the best weather and the funnest company. My girls LOVED playing with their cousins and spending every second with family around. This year we were able to borrow my parents motorhome to camp in. Let's just say that I don't know if I will be able to go back to a tent again...haha. It was so nice. We shared it with Bryan and Linds (Jared's brother and his wife..their baby Jaxon) which was perfect! My girls slept good, we slept good, it was comfortable, it was nice to have our stuff put away, I loved the fridge/freezer, and it was nice to have a place that was ours! We spent our days on the beach and the nights playing games outside after the kids were in bed. The food was delicious....EVERYTHING WAS JUST SO GOOD AND FUN! I love Summerland. Since I've been going (so the past 5 summers) the weather hasn't been as nice as it was this year. We had days of 41 C!! Hot, HOt, Hot!!! The water was so nice. Both the girls swam ALL day long. We spent most days on Sun Oka Beach with Bakers and took a few days with one of our friends from Kelowna. It was a nice break from the fabulous chaos and so much fun to see some awesome friends! We went boating and laughed (well some of us SCREAMED!!!) on the tube, tried the wake skate, and Jared skiied. We even were there to help them evacuate their cottage because of the fires that were getting too close and scary! I love you guys!! It was so much fun to see each other.

Paige was such a cute girl. She changed so much in the 13 days that we were out in BC. Paige LOVED the water, LOVED her floatie, LOVED the sand, and LOVED her new found independence. What a silly little girl. I love her! She was so good the entire trip minus pooping in her carseat numerous times...and I mean pooping. ahh!! She slept on the beach when she was tired and swam when she woke up. Paige loved all her cousins that paid such close attention to her. It was so nice to have older cousins that I could trust with my girls....they are all such good little helpers. I loved it!

I had never tried wake skating before...it was alot of fun!
Our first family tube ride- Paige LOVED it and Elle HATED it! She eventually liked the tube after the 3rd ride. haha.

Elle is such a fish. She did take a few days to warm up to putting her face in and actually swimming, but soon she really was a fish. She was such a brave girl and was trying new things everyday. Elle tried knee boarding, tubing, and swam with us out to the buoys! I LOVE this little girl...she makes me smile! She didn't want to leave the beach after our 6-7 hours that we spent there. I loved that! She was so happy to wake up and get dressed for the beach...then would run down the beach with her sun glasses on and bucket in hand. It was so cute!!!

Anyways, I could probably go on and on about the fun that we had. We did alot of swimming, sand castle building, suntanning (well tried anyways..haha), boating, and memory making. We missed everyone that couldn't make it out this year and hope that our girls will love Summerland like we do!

Today at Breakfast

Blessing on the food:
"Heavenly Fahder, thank you for sis day, blessa food, blessa oadameal, thank you the famly be together..haha, blessa food, nice day, thank you for da food, Jesus Amen"

She is so cute! I can't believe that she doesn't need my help anymore for her prayers. She knows exactly what to do and volunteers for every prayer. haha. I LOVE this little girl!

Her latest thing:
Elle: Mommy (or Daddy)
Mom: Ya, Elle?
Elle: I wub you!
Mom: Ah, Elle I love you too.
Elle: I wub you more.

Isn't she the cutest thing ever??

Summer Happenings!

We have had such a fun summer so far...even though it hasn't been the hottest summer, we have made some awesome memories and been able to spend alot of time together as a family. We had such a fun Woolf Family Reunion  at the end of June where my entire family was able to be out in Fairmont, BC together for a week. The stampede was such a blast, we LOVED the pancake breakfast that our ward put on....the hay rides, the clown off Billy Madison, astro jumps, the food, face painting, fire truck, live bands, ect. They went all out!!! We took some time to explore a little bit of our town together by visiting the Big Rock that's out here in Okotoks. What an amazing rock and story behind it. We have spent a lot of time at the beach in Calgary at Sikome and out in BC in Summerland (pictures to come). It was so much fun with Jared's family in Summerland, BC for 2 whole weeks! We miss the beach, sunshine, and cousins....we LOVE the park, we LOVE swimming, we LOVE spending time with family and friends, we LOVE summer!!!! Hopefully we are able to be outside alot this month with HOT weather!
Stampedin' can really be tiring! haha. What good little cowgirls we have.
Elle is doing so good at riding her bike. I just wish that our street was level becuase she hasn't figured out how to go up it yet, but we are working on it!

This is "The Big Rock" out by Okotoks...it's so cool. It was fun to just go for a drive together as a family one afternoon.

Just a side note: my girls are getting so BIG!!! Paige has learned quite a few new tricks, is an eating machine, and LOVES her sister...Elle is such a good little swimmer, she loves playing with cousins, eating treats, and LOVES Paigee! We continue to have many, many dance parties in the car, walks in the evenings, and keep thoroughly entertained by our silly girls!
This is one of Elle's good "boy" friends...aren't they so cute walking home from the park??!!

7 Months Already!

Paige is growing so fast. She is already 7 months and getting bigger and bigger everyday. Some of the most exciting news: SHE CUT HER FIRST TOOTH  &  SHE'S CRAWLING!!! We are so excited as she has been LOVING food. Some of her favorites are well everything, there hasn't been a single thing that she has not liked; rice, oatmeal, barley, squash, sweet potatoes, peas, carrots, chicken, egg yolk, grapes, strawberries, pomegranate, apple, pear, peach. It's so much fun to start teaching her sign language although she hasn't picked up any quite yet...Elle loves practicing it with her though. Paige is getting around in a crawl/scoot that is getting better and better everyday. I LOVE watching her learn- she is so funny!!!! What a good little girl she is. She had to be taken to emergency one evening as we discovered she had a double ear infection. It was so sad to see her sick; she was so cuddly with me as she wasn't feeling well.
We love Paige and can't imagine our lives without her. She teaches us all about smiling and having a desire to discover the world around us. Ell
e loves being a big sister and is very good at making sure Paige has a toy to play with.

Hot Yoga

front center.jpg
I was introduced to Hot Yoga this last week. It is amazing! A group of us girls went this last week and had such a fun night out discovering a new way to exercise that is quite relaxing, invigorating, and cleansing. I can't believe how HOT the room gets, how sweaty we all got, and how good it felt afterwards. I woke up this morning sore...I never would have thought that Yoga would be a very good exercise. I was wrong- I loved it! It's so different and I felt like I was in a different world...I guess technically it is, because it is on 17th Ave. People up there are a little strange...haha. What a fun girls night. I can't wait to go again!
