Zoo Days R' So Fun!

We went to the Calgary Zoo with some friends here in Okotoks....it was so much fun! Elle LOVED having other kids her age to look at the animals with and to hang out with ALL day long. It was the perfect weather, not too hot or too cold! We LOVE the Calgary zoo!

Spruce Meadows

We had such a fun time visiting Spruce Meadows...and it was my first time there!!! There is so much stuff to do and look at. The girls LOVED all the horses, the different food, all the people, the beautiful gardens, and the dog races/tricks!!! We will definitely be going back soon.

My Lil' Princess

Paige is 9 months old today....and it's the first time that I actually have watched "A Baby Story" since she was born. haha. That means that she's getting BIG!!! We LOVE this little lady so much. Elle really loves playing with Paige, especially since now she is more mobile and can get around faster. A few of the new things that Paigee is doing this month:

-gives kisses with a nice BIG open mouth haha

-signs; "more", "all done", "milk"

-cries if you say "No Paigee"

-claps her hands

-sleeps so good- 2 naps, all night

-uses her little walker so good & all by herself

-is starting to let go and stand there for 5-10 sec. before sitting down

-loves dogs

-dances by bouncing up and down when we say "Shake your booty Paige, come on dance!"

-gets mad if you take anything away from her

-LOVES playing in the bath!

-climbs up 1 stair and then turns around to sit down & show us how awesome she did

-has 4 teeth now...with more on the way! (2 up & 2 down)

-her hair is starting to grow a little bit...you can tell if she's in the sunshine haha

-continues to LOVE Elle

-LOVES her Daddy and gets so excited when he comes home from work

-had a sleep over with her Grandma and did so good!!!

-growing so much

She is getting so BIG. I don't know if I can handle my baby growing up...but each stage is so much fun!!! We LOVE you Paigee-Goose!!

I LOST my camera....all my FUN pictures!

I am so sad. I LOST my camera and we had taken some really fun pictures. We lost about a months worth of pictures including this past weekend when we were in Edmonton. It was so much fun....Elle LOVED the waterslides, spray park, and the wave pool. I wish that I had those pictures to show you the look on her face when she came down the slides. haha. It was really cute! It had been a long time since I had been back to Edmonton to visit- what a beautiful city. We had so much fun shopping, swimming, visiting friends, seeing Miken's new house, and spending time at our friends uncle's cabin. So ya, back to why I'm so sad....WHERE IS MY CAMERA???!!! I have looked everywhere.

We have been busy CANNING!

I LOVE canning!!! This is the first year that I have actually followed through with canning. Every year I always buy a case of peaches out in Summerland expecting to can it...and it ends up being eaten. haha. Nadine and I canned 32 jars of peaches! It was so much fun. I LOVE that she lives close so that we are able to do such fun things together and she can teach me the "how to" of some useful homemaking skills. She is so talented! 

Jared and I canned some crab-apple jelly this morning- yup, that's right Jared was right in there helping out. It was so much fun learning to "extract the juice" from the apples that Nadine picked from the Blvd out here in Okotoks (you're awesome). ALL my cans sealed today too and I was so excited to hear all the "pops"....I will admit that I was nervous doing it without Nadine by me and she received a few phone calls during the process. haha. Anyways, I am excited that I have added to my food storage- it was so much fun doing it! 

PS That picture isn't really my canning....I just got a picture from the internet and then will switch it when I take one of my own. haha.
