7 Months Already!

Paige is growing so fast. She is already 7 months and getting bigger and bigger everyday. Some of the most exciting news: SHE CUT HER FIRST TOOTH  &  SHE'S CRAWLING!!! We are so excited as she has been LOVING food. Some of her favorites are well everything, there hasn't been a single thing that she has not liked; rice, oatmeal, barley, squash, sweet potatoes, peas, carrots, chicken, egg yolk, grapes, strawberries, pomegranate, apple, pear, peach. It's so much fun to start teaching her sign language although she hasn't picked up any quite yet...Elle loves practicing it with her though. Paige is getting around in a crawl/scoot that is getting better and better everyday. I LOVE watching her learn- she is so funny!!!! What a good little girl she is. She had to be taken to emergency one evening as we discovered she had a double ear infection. It was so sad to see her sick; she was so cuddly with me as she wasn't feeling well.
We love Paige and can't imagine our lives without her. She teaches us all about smiling and having a desire to discover the world around us. Ell
e loves being a big sister and is very good at making sure Paige has a toy to play with.

Hot Yoga

front center.jpg
I was introduced to Hot Yoga this last week. It is amazing! A group of us girls went this last week and had such a fun night out discovering a new way to exercise that is quite relaxing, invigorating, and cleansing. I can't believe how HOT the room gets, how sweaty we all got, and how good it felt afterwards. I woke up this morning sore...I never would have thought that Yoga would be a very good exercise. I was wrong- I loved it! It's so different and I felt like I was in a different world...I guess technically it is, because it is on 17th Ave. People up there are a little strange...haha. What a fun girls night. I can't wait to go again!

Woolf Family Reunion...."1 Another"

We had so much fun at the first Woolf Family Reunion..."1 Another"!!!
We went out to Fairmont, BC for an entire week with all the sisters and brother. It was so much fun and crazy loud with all us Woolf's and 9 kids under the age of 4...haha. We planned the week to focus around songs that we remember from when we were young and also had activities that went with these songs and focused on the kids. Since we were having the reunion in Fairmont (a place that we have been going to since I was born) we felt that bringing back some of these memories would be fitting. The week was themed "1 Another" becuase that is what we want to do....Love 1 Another, Play with 1 Another, Work with 1 Another, ect. I worked really hard with alot of help from a friend and my sister to get some shirts made for the occasion for all 21 of us. I think that they turned out pretty good and everyone liked them. Thanks for everyones help!! This is how the week looked like:

Thursday--> Families Are Together Forever; this is the day that most people arrived, we made a tableclothe with everyone's handprints on it
Friday--> Skinamerinkydinkydink; we made Sock Puppets that turned out so good!
Saturday--> Popcorn Popping; we strung popcorn necklaces, water balloons, caramel popcorn
Sunday--> I love to see the temple; we built temples/candy houses with milk cartons and marshmellows, went on our traditional Fairmont Golf Ball hunt; we took some
awesome family pictures this day as well
Monday-->If You Chance to Meet a Frown; face painting
Tuesday--> Bula Bula; we played the game, hide n' seek, soccer, and had an egg hunt with plastic easter eggs filled with smarties
Wednesday--> Oh Canada!; Woolf Family Olympics, this is my mom's favorite holiday so we went all out with maple leaf sugar cookies, the famous Canada Day square, and then ended the day with fireworks at the Fairmont Lodge...was a really fun day!
Thursday--> So long, farewell! Some of us had to leave this day...others got to party for one more day and left on Friday morning.
What a fabulous week. We had so much fun being together, swimming everyday, making memories, and watching our children play together. I can't wait for the next reunion.

Our little Paigee is already 6 months old. She is getting so BIG and is such a huge part of our lives. We all love Paige and love her smiles! She is:
-sitting up by herself
-eating solid foods...she loves everything we have given her (rice cereal, oatmeal, sweet potato, squash, grapes)
-SMILES all the time
-rolls from her tummy to back
-sleeping 3-4hrs at a time at night
-loves her feet
-scoots backwards when she's in her pushup stance
-puts everything in her mouth
-loves to be right in on all the action
-laughs at anything Elle does
-loves her Mommy
-good baby, hardly cries
-tries to eat your face if it comes anywhere near her
-loves to reach with her hands and touch your face
-squeels

We are so excited for all that Paige is learning to do. Jared, Elle, and I love watching her grow bigger and bigger everyday. We love you Paigee-Goose!
Elle is such a good BIG sister. I walked in on Elle reading to Paige "There's a monster in my house, Don't be Silly Milly, I think it's only Box (Fox)".  She loves to play with Paige, read to her, make her laugh, and gets upset when she is sad. They will be best friends forever!!!

Happy Birthday Jared!

Jared turned 32 this year...and since it's not really that big of a deal for him and he had just spoiled me on my birthday...I wanted to throw him a party. We have been talking about getting a Wii since it came out, but it always seemed to be surpassed by more important & less expensive gifts. I just did it one day. I wasn't even planning on it and then as I walked by on my way to get a cake mix in Walmart...there it was. I felt guilty and crazy buying it, but knew that we would have tons of fun!
So for the party...I wanted to tie in the gift (since I felt like it was a pretty big deal for us). I invited 8 couples and had a Wii BOWLING TOURNAMENT! I will admit that I struggled trying to set up a tournament bracket that the guys wouldn't make fun of and that made sense. I finally called my dad up and he emailed me the perfect tournament! Thanks Dad! It was so fun. We had plastic bowling pins for the kids to play with and then for party favors I found Wii candy dispensers (kinda like Pez). I had so much fun planning the party and keeping it a secret from Jared. He deserved it! We had a fun night playing (some of us learning) bowling. Jared LOVED his gift and has been playing it ever since. I mostly use it to humble him (haha ya right) and I want to box him everynight as a workout. I don't know if it's just me, but I get so into it that I'm sweating by the end. It's fun!!!

I am so happy that we get excited for birthdays and holidays at our house. It's so much fun and I hope that my girls learn to get just as or almost excited as me! haha. Happy Birthday Jared! We love you.

What a fun "Pink Party"!!

We have some of the funnest, most creative friends. They always have a fabulous party in the making which turns out to be so much fun. In May it was the "PINK PARTY"! Everyone was to be dressed in some sort of pink and get ready for a night of food, friends, fun, and dancing!!! We danced the night away...it was such a nice break and so much fun to let loose for a few hours. haha. The guys were such good sports and looked amazing in their pink shirts! Everything was pink...pink bread for sandwiches, pink candies, pink pop and juice, pink cotton candy, pink cookies, pink chocolate covered fruit, pink chips, and pink decorations! Jared and I had such a fun night together; what a fun date! I love that we have such good friends who know how to have a great time. They understand the break we need away from kids and give us a chance to "date" each other again. Thank you for such a fabulous evening and memories that we will have forever!

I have to say that we saw some pretty amazing dance moves that night. haha. It was so fun!!! Did I already say that a few times??!!

The decorations were so awesome. These girls spent so many hours planning, preparing, and working on this fun night! I love the "rock star" feel that was in the room....such fun decorations and music videos!

Jared and I were talked into doing the "Ross & Monica New Year's Eve" dance routine at the Pink Party. We had such a blast "practicing" before hand and I would have to say that we were a hit at the dance. haha. Jared is such a good sport to put up with some of my craziness. (I tried to upload it but it wasn't working...any tips of making it go faster??!!)

Birthday Bowling & Elle Update

Elle was taken BOWLING  for a birthday party of a little girl in our ward and she LOVED it!!! It was so cute how into she got. She was very good at throwing the 5 pin ball down the lane (with a little bit of help from Mommy so it actually made it to the pins..haha). Okotoks has the cutest bowling alley...slightly white-trash, but fun with all the disco lights. Anyone who wants to experience it- just let us know. We would be happy to entertain within our own little town. I love teaching Elle new things and seeing how excited she gets learning. She is at such a fun little age. Picking up on new things all the time and really listening to what we are saying/doing. I love this little princess.Since I was giving an update on some of the new things that Elle is learning, I thought that I should include a few more pictures as well. We went to Southland Leisure Center with the Baker family one FHE and Elle was so brave on all the waterslides. It was so much fun.

Some of the BIGGEST news in our house is that ELLE IS POTTY-TRAINED!!!! We are sooo excited and proud of her. She did pretty good with the whole learning bit and caught on really well...it just took a little getting used to doing the #2. We are LOVING no diapers! What a big girl Elle is getting to be. We love you.
