New Years 2011- Mardi Gras Style

We all ended up being down in Lethbridge for New Years this year and had a BIG party at my parents- decorations, food, activities, disco ball, balloon drop, and music!!! It was such a blast...the kids LOVED decorating their masks and dancing with the disco ball hung from the ceiling. haha. The Balloon Drop was thought up by my little sister and created by my dad, brother and myself. It was so fun to have everyone involved in the decorating, planning, food making, and partying. Happy New Years Everyone!!!! (this is the Balloon Drop...it was so exciting to have the balloons come down to celebrate the new year- we ended up doing it twice cause the kids had to go to bed earlier than midnight, but they loved bringing in 2011 with all the balloons)

Christmas 2010

Christmas morning was so fun to wake up at our own house. The girls were pretty tired as Daddy had to work so it was kinda an early morning...I was so worried that we would all sleep in and miss having Jared here for presents that I could not sleep all night and kept checking the clock (I was so EXCITED). WE LOVE CHRISTMAS!!!

We drove down to Welling at noon so that we could be there for dinner and more Christmas fun!
Santa Babies!

Christmas Jammies
Elle learning to skate for the first time- she did amazing!
Grandma Joan's snow fort that Daddy and Uncle Mik made- it was an igloo without a roof.
Lots of sledding with cousins
Candy Houses

We had such a fun filled Christmas....lots of family around, food, laughter, memories, and smiles!!! We are truly grateful for this time of year and the way that our girls are really understanding all the "fun, excitement, & magic". We love Christmas!

Away in a Manger...

We have had LOTS of opportunities to remember the true meaning of Christmas by acting out the nativity scene...at preschool (yep, that's my nephew in the "manger"), at the annual Gramma Baker sleepover, and at the ward Christmas party! The girls actually play the Christmas story almost everyday with all their stuffed animals and include lots of baby "Jesus" in their mangers. haha. It's really cute! We are so grateful for the birth of our Savior.(Preschool)
(annual Gramma Baker sleepover)
(Ward Christmas Party...it was actually for the primary kids, but both girls just joined in anyways. haha)

My Baby is 2

I can't believe that my baby turns 2 today...what a little lady Paige is! She will do anything and everything that Elle does, sings her ABC's, counts to 10, talks alot, hits everyone (we're working on this), sleeps like a champ, loves to climb! WE love watching Paige reach milestones and learn new things everyday.
Happy Birthday little lady...we love you! Look how much you've grown...

Snow Day

We LOVE spending time together as a family...it doesn't really matter what it is we are doing, but it's so fun to be together!! The girls LOVED sledding.

We are so proud...

Jared ran the "1/2 Harvest Marathon" here in Calgary right before Thanksgiving...he trained for 2 weeks and did SO good. He actually beat his goal by 2 minutes and ran it in 1 hour and 43 minutes!! Good job Jared.
