happy birthday to elle...you're 3!!!

We are so excited that Elle is 3!!! We had such a fun weekend celebrating. It started off with a "Pinkalicious Birthday Party" on Saturday. We had pink decorations, pink party favors, pink birthday outfit, pink birthday cake, and pink food!!! Elle was in HEAVEN!!! We invited a bunch of friends over and had fun decorating wands, reading the "pinkalicious book", playing with pink balloons, and eating cake. We love having parties at our house!
Sunday, Jared's parents had a birthday dinner and party for all the March Birthdays that are in the family. We brought the left over "giant cupcake" that we made to share with everyone and Elle enjoyed everyone singing "happy birthday" to her. She always say right along with everyone and would say "happy birthday to me"..haha. What a silly lady!
Monday was Elle's actual real birthday...she woke up to her gifts her all of us and a special breakfast. We made a point to put a candle in each meal for her so we could sing. She LOVED it!!! We played together as a family with all of Elle's princess dress up stuff and enjoyed a dance party. It was so relaxing and fun to stay home and just play all day long. For supper Elle chose McDonalds...so off we went to join a few friends at the playplace in MacDonalds. We ate cupcakes and sang again.
What a fun weekend that we had celebrating this little princess' special day. We love Elle so much. She is so much fun and has such a sweet personality. I can't believe that she's 3 already...and that she somehow convinced her dad to dress up in princess attire, including earings. haha. What a good Daddy!

The cake look a little bit cuter once it was half eaten...then we just layed it on it's side and it still looked pretty good. She definitely LOVED all the birthday cake that she ate all weekend long.

New Year's Masquerade Ball

What a fun new year's party!!!! We were invited/helped plan a fabulous party....it was so elegant, well decorated, great food, fun entertainment...what an incredible night! My parents (thanks again!) took the girls for the weekend while Jared and I had an amazing night out together and then worked out butts off the rest of the weekend before picking them up. We really enjoyed the time that we had together and the party was fabulous!!!! Thanks to everyone (you know who you are) who planned and put so much time into this event. It was so fun to get all dressed up and enjoy new year's eve. Nothing was forgotten; not even the strawberries on the rim of the glasses with sparkling drink in it. haha. We have such amazing friends.
These are just some of the decorations...they were so pretty. I LOVE parties & celebrating!

christmas continues in the country...

There is nothing better in the world than playing outside during the holidays with WIDE OPEN SPACES. We were able to quad, enjoy the horses, sled, build snow creatures, and laugh....we did alot of laughing (and were in pain) when we went crazy tubing behind the quad- I think that I'm getting old. haha!!
The girls playing in the snow....it was pretty cold out; they even played in the playhouse (we did a pretty good job at having our playhouse look similar eh?)

We were able to spend a few days at my parents house after Christmas. It was so relaxing and fun to play outside in the snow, see friends from high school, play in the alumni tournament (those were both me), and spend time with cousins. The food continued to be amazing and it was fun that Christmas was able to continue on for another week. We are so lucky to have family on both sides so close by that we get to spend lots of time with everyone.

Mommy and Paige on the GT Snow Racer behind the quad. It's so fun that both the girls are able to participate in the activities that we do outside. I love my girls!
These are all the nieces and nephews on the Woolf side...you can tell which kids belong together. haha. I'm so happy that we got to see the Workmans, they surprised us from Arizona on Christmas Eve. Such a fun surprise!!!

Christmas 2009

We had so much fun celebrating with family over the holidays. We ate amazing food, played games, hung out, played outside, watched the live nativity, made memories....I LOVE everything about Christmas!!! It was really fun to watch the excitement of the girls. Elle totally understood Santa this year and everything (even the candy cane) that she pulled out of her stocking was "everything she ever wanted". haha. She was really cute. Paige was just so excited with all the excitement going on around her...maybe just a little too overwhelmed (both the girls ended up with breakdowns) and we had to have a time out from Christmas activity and do normal morning routine things- eat breakfast- before we could return to the fun.
Santa was very good to us this year and even remembered to drop off bells from his sleigh and put them in the girls stockings. I was so proud of Jared and all the hard work that he put into the girls doll beds (I'll have to take a closer picture with their dolls in them), they were perfect and are loved on an hourly basis. They also LOVE their dolls; they were so much fun to make. Thanks Ang for your help!

Do you love the matching jammies that I made...everyone in the Baker family had the same!!! It was so much fun to all be matching! Christmas is fun like that! haha. I think it's our new family tradition.
We were sad to take the Christmas stuff down and put it away...we can't wait for next year!
