Winter Wonderland

While we were at my mom's house during the holidays we spent lots of time in the snow. We had the weirdest weather...it was so snowy, so cold, so windy...which had us snowed in a number of times. During the 10 days we were in Welling, my dad was found out in the bobcat for numerous hours trying to dig out the driveway. It was actually nice (for the first week, then I just got stir crazy) to stay at home, in my pj's and just hang out. We had lots of fun...watching movies, playing games, napping, playing in the snow, and going on quad rides.

While everyone was outside playing, Paige and I decided to do a little photo shoot...doesn't she look so cute in PINK and a TUTU!! I love this little girl.

Merry Christmas 2008

We had such a fun christmas this year...Elle was so excited that we couldn't help but join in (ok, so Jared and I were already excited, but it helped to have Elle old enough to catch onto the spirit of christmas as well). We were able to spend lots of time with both the Bakers and the Woolf families which was sooo nice. While Jared was working, the girls and I had lots of sleepovers with grandparents and were able to continue eating, singing carols, wrapping gifts, playing games and being with family. This christmas we were able to make so many fun memories as a family and enjoy having such good girls! We love Christmas!

Paige Karen Baker

We are so excited to announce that PAIGE KAREN BAKER is finally here. We love everything about her...her chubby cheeks, all her little rolls, giving her cuddles and kisses, her long skinny toes, and cute little lips. She arrived on Dec. 18 at 3:53 am, weighing 7 lbs 10 oz. The delivery went so good and she decided to come really fast (which I appreciated. haha). Elle loves being a BIG sister and giving Paige as much love as she can. Paige truly is the best Christmas present ever...we are so happy that she is apart of our family. We love her!

I want my Daddy...

This morning Elle woke us crying for "Daddy". She has been so attached to him this week that I decided to print her a picture of her daddy that she could carry around all day until he came home from work. She is also really in love with SANTA! If there is a santa on someone's lawn or on TV...or anywhere actually, she loves to point him out. So, to cover both basis I decided to get a picture of her Daddy in a Santa suit...isn't it hilarious. haha. Maybe I'm getting a little bit nerdy trying to pass the time until the baby comes. haha.

39 Weeks...Only 1 more week left

Only 1 week left...we are all getting so excited!!! My bag is packed and I have been trying to think of everything that I can do to put myself into labor....running, jumping jacks, raspberry leaf tea, pineapple (so much that my mouth is hurting), pressure points in my hands and feet, ankle massages with peppermint and lavender oil, spicy food, and anything else. haha. Jared keeps calling me a labor junkie, but I am just so excited. I had an ultrasound on Tuesday because I am measuring a little bit small...and I saw the baby in 4D. It was the coolest experience ever. I was sad that Jared and Elle weren't there (they were at home with the flu) because I saw the babies chubby cheeks, wrists, and cute little chin. I don't know how accurate the images are, but it was so fun to see the baby moving and have an image in my mind of what it may look like. I can't wait to hold this little baby in my arms!!! We'll keep you posted..hopefully it's any day now.

Family Pictures

A friend of mine took some family pictures a week ago. She did such a good job! Although it was freezing out, I feel hugely pregnant, and Elle wouldn't smile...I think that we got some really good pictures. I know that we'll have to update these pictures in a week or so (I'm being hopeful that it will be sooner rather than later), but I wanted to get pictures for a Christmas card.

38 weeks!

We are still anxiously waiting for the baby to arrive.  I am getting more and more anxious as the days go by, but then find myself enjoying the time that I have to spend with Elle. She is loving the Christmas season with all the lights, trees, decorations, advent calendars, Santa, and baby Jesus. It's so fun to watch her be excited about this special time of year that Jared and I love. We are currently getting over colds and the flu...but after that we are ready for the baby to join our family. We will keep everyone updated.
