What Matters Most...

Life is so busy and I find myself getting frustrated that I can't do it all. I miss friends that I haven't seen in a while, I wish I could do every project that comes to mind, I want to teach my children everything, I want to go on more dates with Jared, I want to hang out with family, I like being able to work every so often, I want to do it all....
This year I am going to strive to FOCUS ON WHAT MATTERS MOST and if the other things happen then great, but if not then oh well. I love my family and they are what matter most to me! I need to take the time to show them more often. I love you Jared, Elle and Paige! Thanks for being patient with me.

New Years 2011- Mardi Gras Style

We all ended up being down in Lethbridge for New Years this year and had a BIG party at my parents- decorations, food, activities, disco ball, balloon drop, and music!!! It was such a blast...the kids LOVED decorating their masks and dancing with the disco ball hung from the ceiling. haha. The Balloon Drop was thought up by my little sister and created by my dad, brother and myself. It was so fun to have everyone involved in the decorating, planning, food making, and partying. Happy New Years Everyone!!!! (this is the Balloon Drop...it was so exciting to have the balloons come down to celebrate the new year- we ended up doing it twice cause the kids had to go to bed earlier than midnight, but they loved bringing in 2011 with all the balloons)

Christmas 2010

Christmas morning was so fun to wake up at our own house. The girls were pretty tired as Daddy had to work so it was kinda an early morning...I was so worried that we would all sleep in and miss having Jared here for presents that I could not sleep all night and kept checking the clock (I was so EXCITED). WE LOVE CHRISTMAS!!!

We drove down to Welling at noon so that we could be there for dinner and more Christmas fun!
Santa Babies!

Christmas Jammies
Elle learning to skate for the first time- she did amazing!
Grandma Joan's snow fort that Daddy and Uncle Mik made- it was an igloo without a roof.
Lots of sledding with cousins
Candy Houses

We had such a fun filled Christmas....lots of family around, food, laughter, memories, and smiles!!! We are truly grateful for this time of year and the way that our girls are really understanding all the "fun, excitement, & magic". We love Christmas!
