Hot, Hot, Hot!

I can't believe that it has already been 3 weeks out here!!! Has it ever been HOT out here...love, love, love it! We were nursing a few sun burns but now have a better routine with the sunscreen. haha. We are still living at the beach everyday. The routine is really nice and the girls know exactly what is going to happen next. haha. Still LOVING it!!!
We had a surprise this week...Jared showed up for his 4 days off!!! It was so exciting!! He bought his tickets back in February and has kept it a secret since then. I LOVE him for that...he knows how much I LOVE surprises!!! It was such a fun week with Dad around!

Elle learned to swim in the "deep part" with no life jacket this week...I can't believe how good she did at it and how big she is getting!

We had an AWESOMELY FUN day with the Olsen Family...man, I LOVE them!!! I sure miss Jana and it was so much fun to see her and have the girls play with their boys! Love ya girl!!!

Our possession date is Sept. 2 for our new house...we couldn't be happier and are definitely doing the happy dance!!!! We can't wait and are counting down the days!!!

Oh Mr. Sun How We Love You!

We are still LOVING our life right now....we miss Jared though. He is back in Calgary working for the next couple of weeks while the girls and I are enjoying the sun, beach and trailer. haha. It has been a really great week. I cannot complain about anything- although I really do have to credit it to the best in-laws EVER!!! They have been so amazingly kind to the girls and I...I am so blessed to have family who is there for me. Thanks, we love you guys!Well here is Week #2...the looks on the girls faces while we are enjoying the beach everyday is PURE JOY! I really love them!
We are so glad that we have cousins and an Auntie to play with at the beach. Elle and her cousin Keaton are hilarious...they are inseparable! They LOVE each other...it's really cute and I'm glad that Elle has cousins that she is able to be close with.

Trailer Trash & Loving it....

Well summer has begun...we are officially in Summerland, BC for the next 5 weeks and are enjoying every second of it. For the first week Jared was out here with us as we settled into our "new home" for the next little while....meet the trailer! Isn't it amazing...we LOVE it!!???! It totally beats a tent and is actually awesome. We might just be in the market for next year. haha.
So this week consisted of suntanning for 6 hours a day while we played in the sand and water at the beach. Such a hard life huh??!!! The girls LOVE the picnic lunches that we have everyday and everything about camping (except the whole bathroom thing!!!). We had a few days out here just together as our little family as gramma and grampa went back to Calgary for the weekend...it was really fun! We just did things together as our little family! We really are excited that everyone is slowly making there way out here to join us...more is always better, but it was really nice to spend a few days together as our little family. It's been awhile!

The girls are hilarious at the beach...who said I would get bored and would need to read a book??!!! They are such good entertainment and just go ALL day...with a forced nap for Paige half way through that isn't really even forced. haha.
We LOVE summer and are so excited to be out here where it is BEAUTIFUL!!! We LOVE Summerland....I can't get over how pretty it is here. So there you have it...WEEK #1!!!!

Nursery Girl

We have another nursery girl who at 18 months:

-laughs at everything
-says "no" even when she means "yes"
-has the cheesiest smile
-LOVES her big sister Elle (she even calls herself Elle haha)
-is adventurous and very independent
-will eat anything and everything
-talks constantly to everyone and everything that will listen
-has the funniest little sense of humor
We LOVE you Miss Paige! We are so excited that you chose our family for your own.

Dance of Joy!!!

You know you're excited when a grown man is willing to do the dance of joy outside a construction site during the day...haha!

Our house is 1/2 way done...they are mudding and taping the dry wall- you couldn't have found 4 more excited people as we broke into OUR house (it's not bad if it's yours right??!!!) the other night. We danced the hallways and took pictures while imagining everything we own in it's place!!! Elle wanted to move in right then and cried when we had to leave...you know your excited when??!!! haha. We can't wait until the end of summer when it will be finished. We continue to do the happy dance whenever we go see progress...we will be VERY happy (like Christmas giddy) when we get to move in.

We LOVE summer around here!!! It is going by so fast already...we can't wait to head to Summerland, BC to spend 6 weeks there camping and living at the lake all day long. We are so spoiled! Yahhh for the SUNSHINE!!!

Happy BIG 33!!

We were so excited to celebrate Jared's birthday this year...we LOVE birthdays at our house!!! He was able to go golfing with his brother so we decided to go with the GOLF theme (guys need a theme too right??!!!)The girls LOVE their daddy and were very excited to pick out his gifts for him and help wrap them up. He is such a good dad, husband, and friend...we are so happy that he is part of our family. Happy Birthday Jared!!!
